The Cultural Significance of Rings

If you wear a ring on your left hand middle finger that means you are falling in love now; while if you are wear it on the index fingers that means you are unmarried or want to get married. There isn’t so many meaning about wearing rings on the left hand, only one point you should pay attention to is if you wear it on the third finger, you may be seen as a nun. In the western aesthetic concept, ring worn on the thumb is very strange, not only in appearance, but also may bring inconvenience to hand movement, so Westerners seldom worn rings on the thumb. In China, most people are not generally wear rings in the thumb, only some people who have a lot of money, power wear thumb rings on the thumb finger.
